However, it would be unfair to overlook the local coaches who showed their capabilities in the intense relegation battle. Li Xiaopeng, Shao Jiayi, and Xie Hui all took charge of struggling teams midway through the season and successfully ensured their survival in the top flight. Shao Jiayi, in particular, impressed everyone with his ability to turn things around at Qingdao West Coast. Many doubted his appointment as he lacked experience as a head coach. But he quickly silenced his critics by leading the team to safety with his strategic approach and motivational skills.

Another example is Christan Rattazio, the Italian coach who joined Shenzhen New Pengcheng to save them from relegation. Despite the immense pressure, Rattazio guided his team to safety in the final stages of the season. His expertise and tactical acumen were vital in the team's survival.

While foreign coaches may have dominated the top of the table, it is clear that local coaches have also made a significant impact in the league, especially in the relegation battle. Their ability to adapt, motivate their players, and make crucial tactical decisions have proven their worth. The Chinese Super League continues to be an exciting and competitive league, with both foreign and local coaches contributing to its success.
