The second game of the LPL 2024 Summer Split Knight's Road kicked off with LGD facing iG.

In the early stages of the second game, Jinjiao's Ezreal and Burdol's Morgana controlled the dragon's lair, allowing Guohao to secure first blood. Afterwards, LGD gained a small advantage in the top lane as Ahn fell victim to Shaoye's pressure. LGD gradually built up a 2k gold lead. iG's Vanguard formation was shattered one by one, resulting in a 4-for-0 fight in favor of LGD and a 3k gold lead.

In the mid-game, LGD continued to pressure and take down turrets, extending their economic lead to 8k gold. YSKM's Kennen attempted a teleport flank, but to their surprise, iG was once again defeated with a 0-for-3 exchange, further extending LGD's advantage to 10k gold.

In the end, Burdol attracted four iG players to the bottom lane, allowing LGD to easily secure the Baron buff. With a 0-for-3 fight in the Dragon's Soul teamfight, Shaoye's Caitlyn made a clean sweep, and LGD swiftly pushed down iG's base, taking the game and securing the match point.
